Tourism (inter- and intrasectoral) cooperation and its role in tourist regions development; the role of knowledge in tourist cooperation.

 Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies
Expertise in researching processes of cooperation/partnership in tourism, analyzing determinants of inter- and intrasectoral cooperation (within the public, private sector and between those sectors representatives); methodology of researching tourism cooperation (including Social Network Analysis).
Member of domestic and foreign scientific teams working on analyzing tourism issues, especially connected with the aspects of regional and local development.
Author of several dozen publications on this topic;
Her PhD thesis: “Determinants of cooperation for tourism development in the region” was awarded by the European Union Committee of the Region’s, in Theses Competition 2011 on “Local and Regional Authorities in the European Union” (in the thesis the author presented results of the own research on cooperation in Polish tourist regions).

The grant of National Center of Science: Social Network Analysis and its application for research on cooperation determinants in a tourist region; the leader of the project (2013-2016)

Project of scientific international cooperation between the Department of Tourism of Poznań Univeersity of Economics and the Department of Strategic Management and Tourism of Innsbruck University: Destination rejuvenation strategies - policies and measures - member of scientific team (2008-2009).

The promoter grant of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for coonducting empirical research to doctoral thiesis: Determinants of cooperation for tourist development in a region; promoter: prof. G. Gołembski (2009/2010)
The grant of the Poznań Town Council for scientific research conducted by scientists of Poznań universities - member of scientific team (2010).
The effect of the project was Polish and English version of publication:
K. Czernek., P. Zmyślony, The life cycle of a city’s tourist function: the case of Poznań [in:] Determinants of tourism development in urban destinations and methods of tourism measurement. The case of Poznań, ed. G. Gołembski, Poznań University of Economics Press, Poznań 2011, p. 9-32.

Project: The Microregion of Great Poland National Park - Green Lungs of Great Poland - expert in conducting trainings and workshops for representatives of local governments and other entities engaged in the project; also expert in the process of creating the strategic document for Microregion (2006-2007).
The effect of the project was publication:
The strategy of sustainable development of tourism in the Microregion of Great Poland National Park, collective work, ed. M. Ornoch-Tabędzka, Bogucki Scientific Press, Poznań 2006 (3 chapters in monograph, co-authorsihp: J. Majewska, M. Olszewski, M. Resiak-Urbanowicz).
