 Brief description of your activity focus IRVD acquires and develops knowledge on the importance and the value of an inclusive society – a society for all.
 Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies We at IRVD and our network of partners have the adequate knowledge and experiences with which he can help
excluded individuals, groups and organizations to enter political processes on equal footing. Our entire field of work
is associated with non-profit services of awareness-raising, advocacy and assistance in exercising control over public
authorities, respect for democracy and the rule of law, prevention and restraining of deviant behaviors in managing
public affairs and public assets at both local and state levels. These are the areas in which IRVD is already operating
and establishing connections within the non-profit civil sector services. |
 International and national projects beyond EU Framework Programme 1. EIB 2014 Social Innovation Tournament - Project Name: Inclusive working environment
With the project we want to establish a research infrastructure and IT support for production and implementation of
the business model - inclusive working environment.
In Slovenian society there is a need for raising awareness and to strengthen the accountability for the values of an
inclusive society and sustainable development, social cohesion, healthy and ethical (inclusive) working environment.
High costs caused by illness, illegal and unethical practices in the working environment of public and private sector
can be reduced through implementation of our project. Our beneficiaries are companies and other entities of the public
and private sector, policy makers and providers of public control: civil society, NGOs, the media, as well as the
general public and the residents.
Research partners: M.D. Metoda Dodič-Fikfak head of Clinical institute for occupational health, Dr. Adriana Rejc-
Buhovac associate Professor of Management and CSR at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, Bećir
Kečanović LL.M. Degree, co-author of over 100 articles and three books on issues related to Public Law Enforcement
Systems, Public Ethic, Integrity, Anti-corruption measures.
2. EEA and Norway Grants - Project name: The idea of mobile application: Inclusive e-democracy: Don`t give in get
in(volved).
With the project idea we want to combine the values of an inclusive society and innovations in information technology.
The implementation is based on the standard of democracy, that every member of the community have equal
opportunities to participate in the management of public requirements.
Research partners: Transparency International Slovenia, The Jožef Stefan Institute, Municipality Šentrupert,
Municipality Škofja Loka, Society Lipa - University of the Third Age.
