Performance Measurement - Efficiency and Productivity Measurement

I have been working on applying frontier measurement techniques such as stochastic frontier analysis to measure the efficiency and productivity of companies. Such work has been applied to the European insurance industry, the banking industry in Eastern Europe, the manufacturing industry in India and the healthcare sector in the UK.
 Research Activities

 International and national projects beyond EU Framework Programme
RAE 2008 confirms our position as an elite research-led business school, rating 70% of our research activity as either internationally excellent or world-leading. Investing in the support, production and dissemination of high level research is a cornerstone of the Schools strategy.
Dr. Vencappa has a few ongoing research projects on productivity and efficiency measurement, with particular applications to European insurance and Indian manufacturing.
