Brief description of your activity focus
Postodoctoral Marie Curie Fellow. Project manager, researcher, conservator and professor.

Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies
I am a post-doctoral art historian and conservator with 14 years of experience in the successful writing and
management of more than 20 cultural heritage and art history projects, both at a national (Ministry of Culture,
Republic of Croatia), and international level (EU Framework FP7, HORIZON 2020). From all of them, I would like
to highlight my recently (and successfully) completed “Marie Curie” COFUND project, which is titled
“Comparison of Croatian and Slovenian conservators Ljubo Karaman and France Stele in the context of Vienna
School of Art history”, as my proudest achievement of my management career so far. Nevertheless, all of them,
which I have managed in parallel to my research career, are related to topics like cultural heritage management,
quantitative and statistical methods in humanities, conservation of polychromic wooden art and Interwar art
history theory and practices in the Croatian region. While some of them were managed and conducted solely by
myself, more than often they involved the collaboration and coordination of multiple international and NGO
partners (like ICOMOS, IEREK or the “Marie Curie Alumni Association”, to name a few), and they forced me to
work with tight deadlines and budgets, and to lead, inspire and to push the teams into meeting all the
objectives on time.
