Business models, proposal of value, networking management, knowledge management, impact analyses

The Research group “Knowledge Organization” (code OE7) from the University of Vigo is a research group
composed by Social Scientists focused on Business, Management and Network Governance.
They are currently leading two projects:
 ATLANTIC CULTURESCAPE whose objective is the development of tourism experiences that can be
commercialized, based on the concept of Cultural Heritage, allowing the sustainable economic growth of local
communities in the Atlantic Arc;
 MOBAE project whose objective is to promote the hybridization of knowledge between the
automotive, ICT, aerospace and hyper-longevity to identify new emerging skills, support entrepreneurship and
generate business opportunities within the mobility.
Additionally, we are participating in a COST action named WISE-ACT (Autonomous and Connected Transport), as
part of the Management Committee (representing Spain) and in the Core Group (as co-leaders of the group on
Business Models).
In the field of cultural heritage, we can provide:
- Viability analysis of new initiatives of cultural heritage valorisation
- Economic and social impact of potential initiatives in cultural heritage
- Marketing and commercialization plans and campaigns.
- Strategic planning and value chain analysis.
- Statistical data analysis
- New business models design in cultural heritage
Related with mobility, our research lines are:
- New business models related to mobility (autonomous, connected, electric and shared).
- Cultural transformation and emerging competencies associated to those changes. It includes long term
economic, social and employment implications.
- User’s behaviour associated to the new mobility, within the COST Action.
- We have capabilities on social prospective.
- Integration of different industries in the development of commercial solutions, a kind of match
marking.
