ANEA is an independent and non-profit consortium that promotes the dissemination of renewable sources, sustainable tourism and mobility.

ANEA (Naples Agency for Energy and Environment) would be glad to cooperate, as partner, in project
proposals within the next Horizon 2020 call related to Low carbon economy, Sustainable mobility, Energy
efficiency and Blue growth topics.
ANEA is an independent and non-profit consortium that promotes rational use of energy, the dissemination of
renewable sources, sustainable mobility and tourism and the protection of the environment.
ANEA is the reference point for local authorities, energy and transport companies, public associations and
citizens, Port Authority of Naples etc. ; has coordinated the drafting of SEAP (Sustainable Energy Action Plan) for
the Municipality of Naples and for many other Municipalities in Campania region that joined the Covenant of
ANEA has been involved in several European projects in the old programming period 2007-2013, mainly related
to IEE Program (Intelligent Energy for Europe). Actually, in the 2014-2020 programming period, ANEA is involved
in four European project: one of this is called DOMINO – Play the energy saving game, funded by Horizon
2020 Program with the aim to prompt a reduction of energy use in households in 3 metropolitan regions of
Europe: Brussels, Berlin and
Naples (www.dominoenergy.eu). The second one is called CLEAN, funded by InterregEurope Program,
that gather 9 European Regions with the aim to improve the capacity of their policy instruments to increase
energy efficiency in housing and public buildings by 4% (https://www.interregeurope.eu/clean/). The third one
is called Med-EcoSuRe - Mediterranean University as Catalyst for Eco-Sustainable Renovation, funded by
ENI-CBCMED, this project aims to offer an innovative approach to the definition and diffusion of cost-effective
energy renovation within university buildings, with the perspective of extending results to the whole public
buildings sector in the long term. (http://www.enicbcmed.eu/projects/med-ecosure). The fourth one is called
EYES - Engaging Youth In Sustainable Energy Planning, funded by Erasmus+, with the aim to implement
and evaluate an innovative method based on youth participation on the energy and climate local planning.
In addition, since 2005, ANEA, every year, organizes EnergyMed - Conference Exhibition on Renewable Sources
and Energy Efficiency in the Mediterranean (www.energymed.it) that over the years has become the reference
event of Central and South Italy on issues related to energy efficiency, sustainable mobility and tourism, waste
management, smart city.
Since 2010 ANEA leads RENAEL (Italian Network of Energy Agencies) composed by more than 20 private and
public bodies promoting energy efficiency (www.renael.net).
