The research group in Innovation management & Sustainability (INNOMAS) operates within two leading Greek University Research Centers (Athens University of Economics & Business-Research Centre, University of Piraeus-Research Centre) providing services in the broad area of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH). It specializes on the development of conceptual models and their application for innovation assessment and policy, market analysis and consumer behavior, and impact analysis (i.e., economic, social, environmental impacts).
Members of the group have coordinated or participated in large EU- and national-level projects for organizations such as the: European Commission, DG Research and Innovation, DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs; Eurofound (as members of the expert group for the 4th European Company Survey); Swiss National Science Foundation; European Regional Development Fund (MED Programme, South East Europe Programme); and the Hellenic Foundation for Research & Innovation. Finally, group members have published in leading scientific and practitioners-oriented management journals such as the Journal of Management, the Journal of Management Studies, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Human Resource Management, Journal of Business Research, Group and Organization Management, and the European Management Journal.
