International and national projects beyond EU Framework Programme
Project evaluation: support for the establishment of a participatory strategy for management of natural resources in the area of El Haouz and the Toubkal National Park (project funded by UNDP, GEF, WB, GTZ, IFAD, INDH) for poverty alleviation, erosion of natural resources, biodiversity, and empowerment of local populations in the context of decentralization in Morocco:
I have worked with Berber communities in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco since 2004. My research has focused on a essential oil plant distillation project and its implementation in a decentralized process. I work towards the alleviation of poverty and the conservation of natural resources through community-based enterprise, women and community empowerment.

I have a strong interest in political anthropology and the impact of development policies and directives in situ.
I am increasingly becoming interested in the sustainable cultivation of medicinal plants, post harvesting and sustainable agriculture.
I come from a herbal background and have an extensive knowledge on the formulation, production of herbal/essential oil products.
